PARENT & FAMILY COACHING

“Restoring Broken Families From the Destruction of Teen Mental Health + Addictions”

Parent & Family Coaching

The Challenge

As many parents, we know it can be challenging and even overwhelming at times to parent a teen battling mental health issues and addictions.  Feeling defeated and helpless while finding your teen the care they need and maintaining your family and life is frustrating, scary and lonely for parents to navigate without losing hope and staying in faith.

As we walked through the journey of mental health with our daughter and the strain of maintaining a healthy and stable environment for our family, we began working with a life coach focused on teens and family. They educated us with tools, goals and equiped us to parent without living in a constant state of panic and hopelessness. We couldn’t have done it without them.  However, we really had no knowledge of mental health or how to support our daughter through that battle.

Unlike a therapist who addresses the subconscious mind and brings up trauma and past issues to achieve change, a coach works with you through the present challenges to help you move forward and achieve better outcomes/results.

 The Solution

Nothing Hidden Parent & Family Coaching focuses on the family and teen relationship and provides support needed to navigate through the maze of mental health issues while restoring family relationships and keeping God in the center of the process.

Through coaching we ask targeted questions to sort through all the noise and keep the focus on what is most important when life seems out of control.

We coach and teach parents to be more prepared and knowledgeable about mental health issues with methods and strategies which substantially improve parents ability to make decisions and develop Next Steps towards finding care for their teen.

We will coach you to identify and address how your family relationships and dynamics can improve and build trust.  You will learn several ways to support your teens, such as modifying the home environment, providing teens with extra support with emotional problem areas and find ways to avoid and/or prevent triggers in the household by taking a gentler and compassionate approach as you walk through the journey with them.

We believe that teens having a healthy, supportive relationship with their parents is critical to their overall lasting well-being and living a successful life.
